In my personal opinion Steve Jobs had it going on. He understood what it was like to take a company that was not doing well and lead them to the top. He did this by providing for the consumer. The customer experience was the most important part of his strategy, as stated in the article here.
The video of the man that insults Steve Jobs perfectly describes what kind of man he was. He was a man that UNDERSTOOD what his company stood for. He understood what it took to please the customer. Of course, Apple has great technology, along with many other companies, but he made it clear that the customer experience would always come first. In order to be successful he needed to provide for his consumers, and then improve the technology after understanding what the needs were. I think that we should take this strategy into consideration in our own lives. If we first identify what it is we need to improve, before we hassle with fixing the problem we will be better off. We first need to UNDERSTAND what people want, and then work to PROVIDE.
